Dear Families and Students,
Welcome to St. Vincent Green STEM Elementary School! St. Vincent is a Kindergarten through Grade 6 Catholic school located in Glenora. We offer bussing within our immediate boundary area, and welcome students from all over the city for the Green STEM program.
St. Vincent is just one of four Green STEM schools in Edmonton Catholic Schools. The Green STEM program has an intentional focus and integration of STEM disciplines: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We study these disciplines within the context of the Alberta curriculum, and through an environmental lens of Care for Creation. Students follow the design process to understand and overcome real-world challenges. Creativity and ingenuity are boosted by academic rigour, and activities are designed to be engaging, experiential, meaningful, and fun!
We are a positive, caring, inclusive and innovative school community. Our staff is actively committed to the development of each child’s individual potential. We believe that students are best served by a collaborative approach between the school, home, and parish.
